AMANDA PALMER BODY FOUND

Police have released the name of a woman found dead inside a Boston home Thursday morning. She's identified as 32-year-old Amanda Palmer, who has been missing since last August.

Police said they responded about two in the morning to an anonymous tip, leading them to a residential address in Boston, belonging to Adam Leigh.

Detective Iris Valencia-Evans, police spokeswoman, said that only Palmer was found inside the residence. Police report discovering signs of forced entry, and have ruled the death a homicide. Palmer displayed multiple stab wounds to the chest and throat and was believed to have been dead for no more than twenty-four to thirty-six hours when police arrived on the scene.

Leigh, who is currently on an extended vacation in Australia, is believed to have no involvement in the murder.

Police asked anyone with information about the case to contact them immediately.
